People who are suffering from serious chronic back pain rarely have options presented to them that don’t revolve around high powered drugs or surgery. We provide a specialized treatment that has a long-term success rate and has been proven time and again. Spinal decompression works to relieve various levels of back pain, whether severe or moderate, our treatment has been effective for thousands of patients.
What is Spinal Decompression?
The process of spinal decompression serves to stretch and lengthen the spine to reduce pressure on the affected nerves. What this does is help alleviate pain from specific conditions. This is a non-invasive therapy, that works with your body’s natural ability to heal itself allowing necessary nutrients more room to get to where they’re needed most.
Through the movement and retraction of discs, the pressure is released from the nerves that are causing the pain whether it to your lower back or even neck. If you or a loved one is suffering from any of the following, spinal decompression could be the perfect care option for you:
- Chronic Back Pain
- Bulging Disc
- Slipped Disc
- Pinched Nerve
- Lumbar Disorder
How Does Spinal Decompression Work?
Here at TMAC we use the single most important piece of technology for spinal decompression made in the country. The DRX9000 is an FDA approved machine that is a complete game changer. This cutting-edge technology is designed to treat a variety of conditions, especially herniated discs. When left untreated these conditions usually result in irreparable damage unless you have surgery. We can help you prevent that!
The success rate of this treatment is an incredible 86%! Technologies of the past used to use force on the entire spine, but with the DRX9000 we have the ability to pinpoint the exact vertebrae in the spine that need treating. This makes our spinal decompression therapy extremely effective.
Check out some more common questions about how it all works below:
How does it work exactly
Each person is treated on a table and within a hip and upper soft body harness that supports you during the procedure. While comfortably on your back a knee support will be placed under your legs while the table slowly and gently separates your affected disc(s) to alleviate pain and create negative pressure.
How long does it take?
Treatments for each patient varies but on average it takes approximately 30 minutes. Depending on the severity of the condition or disc issue, a patient typically will be recommended anywhere between 15-30 treatments over a period of 8-10 weeks.
Does it hurt?
There have been no reports of painful treatments from our patients. In fact, this is a very gentle therapy where we’ve even had people fall asleep on the treatment table.
